Zhan made a contented grunt after the sniffing inspection was over. He had a lopsided smile, "I'll teach ya some stuff later..." Zhan murmured.
Feather chewed on her paw, attempting to rid herself of a tick. "I thought I could hear something behind me when I entered the pack... is it possible it was the creature? It sounded heavy, like a horse... If it was the creature, and if it hasn't moved, we might find it south of the territory border..." She said thoughtfully with a slight shrug.

Soala studied him curiously. Then her muzzle broke into a somehow clumsy smile. The elderly wolf's tone was warm, in a way reminding her of her gentle father. "Please."

Hakkaku nodded at Feathers words. "If anyone hasn't seen it since then, we'll start our search there, and if we don't find anything, we'll head about looking for any signs to where the creature could have gone."

Fang looked down at her paws ashamed and sighed. Slicer dug her huge claws into the ground and flicked her ears. She glanced at Hakkaku and continued eating.

Fortuna spoke up once again, "When do ye think ye'll be going?" she asked, "The critter is swift, or so I've heard... it'd be wise to leave before long..."

Hakkaku nodded and looked over at the wolves who were still eating. "I saw we finish eating and at dawn, we hunt." He growled, nodding towards Fortuna. "Do you think, before we rest tonight, that you can fly over the land, see if anything catches your eye?"
