The mist settled over the forest, setting an eerie yet relaxing feeling. Many rocks lined in one row, representing the loved ones that passed away. In a far section away from the one row laid broken stones, the cast aways. Hakkaku sat in front of one rock within the first row, his unrelenting gaze never waving from the rock. The grave was his fathers. Cayden, after shortly joining The BloodPack, had informed him of their fathers death. Though the body was not here, Hakkaku felt that there should be something representing their father amongst the others that have passed.
Sighing heavily, Hakkaku placed the black roses that were in his mouth down across the rock. He did this every moon, placing roses, black in color, on his fathers "grave". He felt a peace with it, as if his dead father knew he still loved him. Bowing his head, Hakkaku sent up a prayer.

A breeze blew around the forest as Abhay walked. She whispered,"Hakkaku...You will be ok?" She sighed and trotted near him and sat down looking at his father`s grave. She started to remember her father and the last time she saw him. He had excaped the fire, but her mother and the others didnt. Her brother and sister too made it. Abhay walked closer and licked his maw and said,"Who was your father? You never told me..."

Keeping his head bowed, Hakkaku grunted lightly. "I never knew. The only one that did was Cayden, and he too never knew our fathers real name." He looked up at Abhay, his muzzle turning up into a grin. "Why should I care? I mean he's the one that took me out to abandon me under my....mothers," He growled the word, "orders."
Standing stiffly, he turned away from the stone and flowers. He pushed at Abhay's nuzzle and motion for them to walk.

Abhay got up and started to walk,"You know... I too never really knew my father and mother. Sure I grew with them for 3 months or so, they all ways shooed me away. The only friends I had were my siblings."

Hunter watched the two wolves from the cover of the forest. He felt the metal bullet in his paw but he ignored it. His scratched muzzle shook slightly.

Abhay turned away from her mate and growled,"I know someone is out there! Come out!" She padded over with caution ever step she made. This must be some newcomer... I never smelled this scent before! She thought over and over.

"Abhay! Get back here!" Hakkaku growled, running to stand in front of his mate, shielding her body with his, just in case this thing in the brush decided to attack.
"Do as she says and come out." He shouted into the forest, his voice filled with anger and worry.

Hunter saw the powerful looking wolf coming closer. He whimpered and raced off into the forest. He was only two years old and was still like a pup.

Abhay saw a little of this wolf...."He is just a mere pup, I believe Hakkaku!" She added,"Shall we get him? He may be attack from something here. There are foxes and hawks here that is bigger than him."

Hunter stopped and sat down. He couldn't run. The bullet was swelling and he could barely walk... He looked to the bullet and grabbed it with his teeth. He slowly and gently tried to pull it out. It wouldn't budge.

Hakkaku growled low in his throat then looked at Abhay. "A pup?" He asked, looking sheepish and the worried. "Let's get him then, before he does get hurt. Just promise not to wander from me." He whispered the last bit, still fearful that she, like everyone else, would be taken from him.

Abhay nodded,"Well come on!" She broke into a run and spotted blood. She knew he must have came here. Like a hound, she started to put her nose to the ground and smelled the trail. She let out a howl and dashed off. Looking behind her to make sure Hakkaku was still there. Finally she stopped in front of the pup.

Hunter whimpered at the large wolf in front of him. He felt like just taking his claws and putting them to his throat. This was just too much for him...

Hakkaku padded up after Abhay, looking at the small pup, then at the wound. He quickly went to the paw, looking at it closely. "How did this happen?"
